Hello, I’m DDASONI, the 3D pen creator. This time, let’s make ‘late Santa Claus’ figure. Santa Claus should come on December 25th. But this Santa Claus was late playing, and he was barely here at the end of the year so I made a ‘late Santa Claus’ figure. The image of Santa Claus, as we know it now, is originally made in Coca Cola. First, write down the name and draw down the outline. I drew it while imagining a happy Santa Claus. When the outline is complete, tape it and secure the writing paper. The writing paper is a favorite because it is good for hardening and then removing filaments. It’s cheap, too. 🙂 This is my first figure, the emoticon, ‘Mim’.
I’ll put it away for work. Next, prepare 3D pens and filaments for main work, and make the frame of the face. Creating frames is an important task, so it makes them meticulous and firm. It also creates frames to paste into the default frame. When the frame is hardened, slowly remove it and attach it with filament to form a ball. If you remove the filament before it hardens, it will stick to the writing paper and won’t come off. It also creates more frames. The more frames, the better, but only 8 frames were made. And now it’s spinning, creating a tight frame. If a tight frame is made, stack filaments on top of it. You don’t have to close it up the first time. As I was building the filament, the basic hairstyle was created. The filament is stacked closer together to form a round shape. If you stack the filament and fill the gap, you will find a round ball. If you fill in the holes or deficiencies one more time, it’s better to work on them later. Now use the wood burning tool to trim the surface. Slowly trim. It’s fake.
trim quickly. In fact, the trim took more than an hour.
(I made the design bigger than I thought. ㅠㅠ) When you work while listening to music, you can spend time like water. The head has been shaped. As you trim, fill the gaps with filament and trim them one more time. Woodburning tools are very hot tools, so wear gloves or use them with care. The body uses a red filament to make and paste a frame, just like a head. When you make a frame like this, you can rotate it to make a closer frame. Once the frame is complete, it will continue to stack filaments this time. If the accumulated filament is stacked immediately before it is hardened, the filament below will sink, so it will be hardened enough before it is built up. When you spend your time listening to music like when you make the head, the body is quickly made. Now make the legs. Make a small frame, attach it to the body, and then make the rest of the frame, fill in the empty space to create a chubby thigh. It fills the space for shoes and checks for balance. I made some body, so I also made a hat. Make a frame with a triangle to match the head shape and fill the rest. Stack it in layers to make sure there are no gaps. And as I continued to build it, this is what it looks like this. Make the end of the hat. The filament is very hot, so put on gloves or touch carefully. Touch the filament that just came out for more than a second and it really screams. It also makes frames for the arms and fills them. Originally, I was going to make Santa look like it only raised one arm, but I changed the hands because I thought it would be cute. Until then, I felt like making a Chinese doll, not a Santa. If you trim your body and cap with a woodburning tool, it will shine like this. The size of Santa Claus is bigger than I expected, so I used more filaments than I expected, so I ordered a new one. If you work with 3D pen, I recommend that you purchase it in advance. Fill in the scarcity and trim with a woodburning tools. Now rub it with sandpaper excitedly. Since the PLA filament is usually difficult to use, a coarse sandpaper of 120 should be used. (I like to use the 120, 400, and 800 sandpaper.) It also rubs the heart-shaped butt. While using sandpaper, wipe the powder with a wet tissue to find out where to use it. I recommend wearing a mask when using sandpaper. Finally, make the details. First, make the hands and attach them. And add details to the hat and clothes using white filaments. Make the front part of the clothes and waistline. When I added white to the red Chinese doll, I started to feel like Santa Claus. ( I was doing it right. ㅠㅠ) The sleeves and hats add white, so it feels like Santa. Add thickness to white part. And roll the white filament before hardening it to form a small booger. Make a hole in the booger and glue it together. Trim the white part with the woodburning tool. Be sure to wipe the woodburning tool thoroughly before trimming the white part.
(It is white so it is easily contaminated.) Using sandpaper can give you a soft feeling. The feet are easy to make if you think you make two halves of black beans. Use a filament to fill and trim the gap between the feet and legs. Now draw a picture of the face and make eyes, nose and mouth. After stretching out the black filament, cut it and use glue and a lighter to make eyes. Lighter helps to modify the surface. (Watch out for burns.) Lastly, make a beard. You can make it feel good by using glue and white cotton. It is more natural to attach a beard as a lump rather than a little stick. Trim the beard beautifully. Add the rest of the hair. Santa Claus is almost complete. Make a moustache to complete Santa, which is 2% short. Hold the shape and position. Use glue to attach the beard, position it, and touch it beautifully. ‘late Santa Claus’ is complete. If you enjoyed the video, please click Subscribe and Like.
